Gaida Studios

Privacy Policy

Effective and last updated: October 9, 2026

This policy explains what personal information Gaida Studios L.L.C. ("Gaida Studios," "we," "us") collects through gaidastudios.com (the "site"), how we use it, and your choices. Gaida Studios L.L.C. is a California limited liability company based in Austin, Texas. We're responsible for that information (the "controller" in EU terms). If you become a client, our signed services agreement governs the data we handle for your brand.

What we collect

When you book a free call or growth audit, the booking form asks for:

  • First and last name
  • Phone number
  • Email address
  • Answers to a few qualifying questions, including your brand's monthly revenue
  • The meeting time you pick

You don't have to give us any of this, but we can't book a call without it.

If you email us, we get your address and whatever you write. When you load the site, our host and the services listed under "Cookies and tracking" automatically receive technical data such as your IP address, browser, device type and the pages you visit.

We don't ask for sensitive data like health information, ID numbers or payment details. Please don't send them.

How we use it

  • Schedule your call and send confirmations and reminders
  • Decide whether we're a fit and prepare for the call
  • Follow up by email after the call
  • Send occasional marketing emails (you can opt out any time)
  • Measure our ads and how people use the site, and show our ads to past site visitors
  • Keep the site working and secure
  • Meet legal obligations and protect our rights

We use your phone number only for the call you booked and messages about it. We don't use it for marketing calls or texts. We don't make decisions with legal or similarly significant effects about you by automated means alone.

The booking widget (iClosed)

The booking form is run by iClosed (app.iclosed.io). What you enter goes to iClosed, which stores it and passes it to us. iClosed may send confirmations and reminders by email or text message. If you get text reminders, reply STOP to end them. The widget loads from iClosed's servers when you open the page, so iClosed may receive your IP address and device data and set its own cookies, under its own privacy policy.

If we want to record or transcribe a call, we'll ask at the start, and we won't if you say no.

Who we share it with

We don't sell your personal information for money. We share it with:

  • Service providers: Webflow (hosting), iClosed and the tools it uses for the booking widget, and the providers we use for email, calendars and video calls
  • Meta and Google, through the Meta Pixel and Google tags described below
  • Lawyers and accountants, under confidentiality
  • Authorities, when the law requires it or to protect our rights or someone's safety
  • A buyer or successor if Gaida Studios is sold or merged

Apart from Meta's and Google's use of data from their tags, we don't share personal information with third parties for their own marketing. We never share your phone number or text-message consent with anyone for their marketing.

Cookies and tracking

These tools run on the site:

  • Meta Pixel. It tells Meta which pages you visit and what you do on them, such as starting or finishing a booking, along with your IP address, browser data and cookie IDs. It runs on our pages and inside the booking widget, where it also tells Meta whether a booking met our criteria. We use it to measure our Meta ads and show our ads to people who visited the site. Meta can link this to your Facebook or Instagram account and your activity elsewhere, and uses it under its own policies.
  • Google Tag Manager. It loads and manages tags on the site, including Google tags such as Google Analytics, which measure how people use the site. Google receives your IP address, browser data and cookie IDs and uses them under its own policies (see policies.google.com).
  • Tools iClosed uses to run and protect the booking widget: Hotjar and PostHog (usage analytics that can record clicks, scrolling and form interactions), FingerprintJS (device identification to prevent fraud), Google reCAPTCHA (spam protection, under Google's Privacy Policy and Terms of Service), Bugsnag (error reports) and AWS WAF (security).
  • Webflow, our host, serves the pages, fonts and images from its own network. It receives the technical data needed to deliver them and may set a strictly necessary security cookie.

So third parties, Meta and Google in particular, can collect information about your activity over time and across different websites when you use our site.

Microsoft Clarity isn't on the site today. If we add it, we'll update this policy first. Clarity records clicks, scrolling and pages viewed using cookies, and Microsoft may also use that data for fraud prevention and advertising (see privacy.microsoft.com).

Your choices:

  • Limit activity-based ads in your Facebook or Instagram ad settings
  • Manage Google ads at myadcenter.google.com, and block Google Analytics with Google's opt-out add-on (tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout)
  • Opt out of interest-based ads from participating companies at optout.aboutads.info, optout.networkadvertising.org, or youronlinechoices.eu in Europe
  • Block or delete cookies in your browser

Do Not Track

There's no agreed standard for browser "Do Not Track" signals, and the site doesn't respond to them or to Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals automatically. To opt out of targeted advertising, use the choices above or email us.

How long we keep it

We keep booking information while we talk about working together. If we don't end up working together, we delete or anonymize it, including in iClosed, within 24 months of our last contact. For clients, we keep it for the length of our agreement and as long afterward as tax and legal rules require. If you unsubscribe, we keep your email on a do-not-contact list so we don't email you again.

How we protect it

The site and booking widget load over encrypted HTTPS, and only the people who need booking data can access it. No system is perfectly secure, so we can't guarantee security. If a breach affects your data, we'll notify you as the law requires.

Your rights and choices

You can ask us to show you the personal information we hold about you, give you a copy, correct it or delete it. To stop marketing emails, click the unsubscribe link in any of them or email us. We'll stop within 10 business days, but we'll still send messages about a call you booked or work we're doing for you.

Email jonas@gaidastudios.com with any request. We may confirm your identity first, usually by checking that the request comes from the email address or phone number you gave us. We'll respond within 45 days and tell you if we need more time. You can use an authorized agent where the law allows, and we won't treat you differently for using your rights.

State privacy rights

Several US states, including California and Texas, give residents rights such as access, correction, deletion, a portable copy, and opting out of sale, targeted advertising and profiling. Whether a given law applies to us depends on our size, but we honor the requests above from every visitor.

We don't sell personal data for money or process sensitive data as those laws define it. Some of these laws treat our use of the Meta Pixel and Google tags as "targeted advertising" or "sharing," and a few may treat it as a "sale." You can opt out using the choices above or by emailing us.

If we deny a request, reply to our decision with "Appeal" in the subject line. We'll answer within 60 days. If you disagree with the result, you can contact your state attorney general. In Texas, that's texasattorneygeneral.gov.

Visitors outside the US

We process your information in the US, and our providers may process it in other countries, where privacy laws may differ from yours. Where the law requires transfer safeguards, we rely on our providers' transfer mechanisms, such as Standard Contractual Clauses or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

If the EU or UK GDPR applies, our legal bases are steps you ask for before a possible contract (booking and holding your call), our legitimate interests in running and marketing our business, your consent (marketing emails where required, and cookies or tracking that need it), and legal obligations. You can access, correct or delete your data, restrict or object to our use of it, get a portable copy, withdraw consent at any time, and complain to your local data protection authority.

Children

The site isn't directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from them, or from anyone under 16 in the EU or UK. If you think a child has given us information, email us and we'll delete it.

Changes to this policy

When we update this policy, we'll post the new version here and change the date at the top. Before a material change takes effect, such as adding Microsoft Clarity, we'll also post a notice on the site. If a change affects information we already hold, we'll email you first.
